House of Kolor's Intercoat Pearl and Flake Karrier is a basecoat clear that is designed to be used as a carrier for Pearls, Flakes, and other dry products offered in HOK's range. This product greatly reduces the settling of Pearls and Flakes after being mixed with other products. It also encapsulates the Pearl and Flake particles so when sprayed, the particles are self-orientated and locked into place, reducing blotching and streaking in the finish. Premium results are achieved when Designer Pearls are applied over a white or tinted basecoat to create an intense pearl effect. Pearl mica pigments are extremely finely ground to create an optimal, smooth finish.
